Kim Petras Euphorically Shatters The Musical Coffin With Her New Halloween EP 'Turn Off the Lights, Vol. 1'

Trick or treat, everybody scream. Cause rising starlight Kim Petras just came for all the musical boys and girls in the pop yard. This is officially Kim Petras town of Halloween. And we don't want to be in anyone else's' neck of the woods! And wouldn't you like to hear something innovative and strange? As we've historically grown customary to our signature traditions of always breaking new underground music over the past 15 years, come with us and you will hear this is no exception.

Now, this is Halloween! Kim Petra opens up her musical coffin causing an earth-shattering earthquake with her just unleashed new Halloween themed EP "Turn Off the Lights, Vol. 1." You will , along with us, be making a Transylvania scene everywhere you galvanize too for spooky years to come!

Kim's new horror mixtape has us dying. No pun intended. Yea it's an EP that consists of 8 tracks but it's one of those records that we always like to say, you can just allow it to blare from the speakerphones from beginning to end. An uninterrupted dance party. Where you allow the euphoric musique to take over your bloodstream like a vampire in the night.

Nowadays in this generation, we no longer have radical new ideas with Halloween themed based projects in mind. We've accustomed our culture to become complacent with repetitive spins of Thriller/Tim Burton-esque/ Jamie Lee Curtis/Elvira images. Don't get us wrong. we adore and celebrate all of these iconic and brilliant artists in their own right.

But this is a refreshing and vivrant reawakening. For this lovely time of Fall in conjunction with Halloween, we have an emerging dark pop sound in tune with a phenomenal pop princess setting the soundwaves ablaze with her release of Turn Off the Light, Vol. 1. This moody-uptempo electro-pop, disco-inspired project puts her up on a pop queen pedestal next to the rest of the greats. Where there is Kelis' 'Fleshtone', Madonna's 'Confessions',  Kylie Minogue's 'X', Britney's 'Femme Fatale', Hilary Duff's 'Dignity', Gaga's 'Fame Monster' or Christina Aguilera's 'Bionic' we're adding Petra's 'Turn Off the Lights' into thee cauldron mix of musical jambalaya.

The songstress also unleashed a medieval gothic yet modern take of baby-doll horror glamour like shots. Below we featured a couple uploads that Kim posted on Instagram. Complete with stellar tracks on album cuts like "Close Your Eyes", "In The Next Life", or “Boo! Bitch!” the marachino on top of this bloody sundae is a very very special guest appearance, via by spoken-word interlude, from the Queen of Halloween herself, Elvira.

Without further ado, dig out and ride with the moon in the dead of night. For we are the shadows on the moon at night. Filling your dreams to the brim with fright. Skeleton Jack might catch you in the back and scream like a banshee. Even make you jump out of your skin.

Won't ya please make way for a very special gal. Our woman, Kim Petras is Queen of the Pumpkin Patch. Everyone hail to the Pumpkin Queen, now. This is Halloween, everybody scream and press play below!
