The power and finesse of the mighty 90's alternative super band The Smashing Pumpkins have resurrected and are on a current reunion comeback with the release of a stellar new tune entitled “Solara.” Simultaneously we here reported and posted their comeback performance two weeks ago with an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
The group were joined with longtime guitarist and once estranged Jeff Schroeder for the performance. Lead vocalist Billy Corgan got the old band back together for a stint in the recording studio and a tour, which is set to unleash next month in July. “Solara” shows that alt-rock musique is still very much alive and vibrant.
Now, the band has unleashed a new musique video for the same single. The video was directed by Nick Koenig and in it, Billy Corgan is imprisoned by a bunch of freaky nurses who hook him up to an IV, filled with a yummy sugary substance.
