Natalie Portman is the new face of Parfums from Christian Dior's perfume line. The Where the heart is actress (yes I said it! It's a Natalie Portman film favorite here), joins past faces as rep for the label, inlcuding Oscar winner Charlize Theron, Jude Law and Sharon Stone. But which scent will she represent for?
Charlize is J’adore, while Sharon poses for Poison. So perhaps it's Miss Dior Cherie for Portman? It's a fresh smell which re-launched during the holiday's in '08. There hasn't been a new campaign since Sofia Coppola’s reign starring model Maryna Linchuk.
This will be the first time Natalie works with Dior representatives for any perfume line to date.
Synopsis: "A pregnant teen goes on the road with her dreamer boy friend, who abandons her in a Wal-Mart store in Oklahoma. Left alone with virtually no money, she hides out in the store for 6 weeks until her baby is born. After the birth, she gets national recognition as giving birth to the "Wal-mart baby". She makes friends with two local women (Stockard Channing as a religious, but promiscious woman & Ashley Judd as a woman with a pile of kids, who also seems to have considerable man problems until she marries the local exterminator). She also becomes friends with the Wal-mart photographer, who leads her to a career, and with a young man who runs the local town's library but takes care of his alcoholic sister, who is the real librarian...."
