Yonce Who?! OG Queen Madonna Surprises Crowd W/ Authentic Music Master Erykah Badu During Dallas Tour Stop: "Madonna Said Come, So We Gone."

"During the second night of Madonna‘s Celebration tour in Dallas on Tuesday (Mar. 26), the singer surprised fans when she invited fellow superstar Erykah Badu onstage to judge the “Vogue” ballroom competition.

As dancers strutted across the makeshift runway, perfect scores were given across the board. Madonna’s daughter, Estere, remained a crowd favorite and closed out the segment.

“Madonna showed out !” wrote Badu following the show. “About Last Night .4 decades of CREATIVE EXPRESSION !!!! I was with the original OG LAST NIGHT !!!!!”

She considered Madonna to be a “symbol of freedom and inclusion.” Adding, “Always so deliberate with your art . I respect and appreciate our sisterhood THANKYOU Madonna and family for hosting my family on our mommy daughter date ! Me and Puma Curry and My lil sis [Koryan Nayrok Wright], her daughter Dime had a wonderful time.”

As the neo-soul pioneer captured footage from the audience, she wrote in a separate post, “@madonna said come . So we gone.”

According to the Dallas Observer, Badu and Madonna haven’t been seen together since a private party in 2022 that celebrated Burberry’s Ricardo Tisci-designed “Lola” handbag.

Despite the festive occasion, fans were irate in Badu’s comments. She was recently called out by Beyoncé’s publicist over a seemingly shady reaction to Bey’s COWBOY CARTER promo. The Hive flooded her recent post from the Madonna show writing, “So you loving on Madonna but hating on Bey…make it make sense.”

Another user chimed in, “You out here acting like a opp against Beyonce… I really did love you but cmon now I feel like you being extra petty. Bey really respects and loves you.”

She indirectly responded to the backlash by posting a photo with the caption, “What is swag?” However, no further comment has been made." - Vibe.com
