It's Hilarious, Aunt “EXPIRED” Bonnie From One Of Greatest Commercials Of The Past Year By Geico!

“EXPIRED! EXPIRED! EXPIRED!” now lives deep inside my brain and if I so much as look at a refrigerator, I let out an “EXPIRED!” in the voice of somebody’s annoying aunt who has overstayed her welcome. And that’s thanks to a Geico commercial that is a horror show for those of you who get the full-body shakes from thinking about your tia visiting you and going through your fridge with judgment. The commercial is called “Aunt Infestations” but these aunts are more powerful than those other “ants” who have been around for 160 million years. These aunts won’t go away with some RAID. But they might go away if you scream that HomeGoods is having a sale on Rae Dunn.

In the Geico commercial that seems to play every 10 minutes whenever I watch live TV, a couple buys a new house and their new house has a guest room, which lures in all of their aunts. And each of the aunts look like she came thisclose to getting the role of nosy neighbor Bonnie Brindle in Small Wonder. The aunts work the last nerve of the couple by pointing out their bad posture, asking if they got their Facebook request, and judging the couple’s ability to keep a big ass house clean. But the Queen of Annoying Aunts in this commercial is Aunt Bonnie who goes through the couple’s fridge looking for EXPIRED food. Aunt Bonnie is different from my aunts and mom, though, because when they see expired food in the fridge, they go, “Oh, that date is just a suggestion. Our people have strong stomachs!”

WARNING: Clicking play on this video may lead to you saying the word “EXPIRED” like Aunt Bonnie does for the rest of your miserable days!

And now that I’ve seen this commercial approximately 8,642 times, every time I open my refrigerator and look at some milk, I hear the judgemental spirit of Aunt Bonnie screaming, “EXPIRED!” She’s scarier than a ghost." - Dlisted.com
