We've Got Your Entertainment Calendar Ready & Checked Off. LA's Microsoft Theater Collaborates With "Yoop" For Livestream Concerts From Hunky Charlie Puth!

"Entertainment company Yoop has announced a partnership with L.A. Live’s Microsoft Theater to launch the first-ever Yoop eSpace in Los Angeles. The Yoop eSpace will host high-quality produced events from the venue that allows artists and creators to reach fans worldwide with a live immersive and interactive eConcert experience.

The initial lineup of participating artists include Royce 5’9” on March 11, Sasha Sloan on March 24 and Charlie Puth on March 31. Additional artists and creators appearing from the Yoop eSpace at Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles will be announced in the coming weeks.

“It’s been really fun getting to know my fans even better through social media this past year, and I am excited to perform live for them in this interactive virtual concert experience,” said Puth in a release.

The Yoop eSpace promises a live zero-lag, two-way visual and audio communication experience and a virtual audience that delivers the crowd energy of a live event as part of the eConcert experience.

“We are incredibly excited the Microsoft Theater has been selected by Yoop to launch their eConcert Yoop eSpace experience technology,” said Lee Zeidman, president of Staples Center, Microsoft Theater and L.A. Live, in a release. “We look forward to the amazing line up of talented artists that will perform live from our stage while connecting with fans around the world and in doing so, strictly following all LA County Health Department rules and protocols to insure the safety environment for all.”

Yoop launched its first Yoop eSpace in Montreal last year and has produced over 100 events since, reactivating jobs within the music industry. Yoop prioritized the eSpace launch in light of the COVID-19 climate, but the technology was developed as a solution to supplement live concerts and will provide artists and creators the opportunity to connect with a wider fan base even when live audiences resume.

“We’re proud to team up with the iconic Microsoft Theater to bring our first Yoop eSpace to the entertainment capital of the world. The venue and its team are at the top of their class and embody the production quality we want to offer artists,” said Yoop founder and CEO Benoit Fredette in a release. “We created the Yoop eSpace with the connection between fans and creators at the core and our eConcert experience makes fans feel like they’re in the venue with their favorite artists and creators, even from the safety of their home.”

Fans can learn more about Yoop and purchase access to events through the Yoop app.
