Chaka Khan Ready To ComeBack With All That Pizazz Again After A Decade

The Queen of R&B Funk/Soul Chaka Khan is officially ready to come back with all that pizazz again after a decade-long retry. She's every woman, and it is all in her. Tell her something good and she'll feel for you. Because that's the kind of woman she is. One of a kind.

Chaka unleashed where her current state of mind is, in a press release to Billboard, "“Because I go dormant and then I...” Khan stops and gracefully lifts her arms together, then slowly brings her hands apart, like a tulip emerging in spring. “I’ve done it many, many times,” explained the sassy sunny gal. She's on the edge of glory as her first new record in a decade is coming. She's also hot of the heels after serving on New Year’s Day as the decadent chic, biker rock-chick (her ensemble was everything) grand marshal at the Rose Parade in Pasadena Cali. Chaka Khan is in full bloom again!

She goes on to share with the public saying that after receiving the call from the Pasadena Tournament of Roses Association, the term “grand marshal” had her shaking in her boogie boots. Her mind running wild like a hamster in a cage she says, “I’ll tell you what I visualized. I imagined myself with a baton, marching in the front. I’m leading the whole parade. That’s what I thought.”

Instead, Khan exploded onto the concrete jungles platform with two tunes, her ever classic “I Feel for You,” as well as a pulsating, electrifyingly stellar brand new song entitled “Hello Happiness.” Thee official second single from the new record. Chaka describes the new song as not a political statement but it's opened to interpretation. “I think we need a shot of just not taking the little things so seriously. Little things are important. It’s about the little things, but just flow.”

After she blew-up TV screens and audiences with her saucy new upbeat number, Chaka Khan sat on a comfy bench in the back seat of a classic convertible, which slowly made its way past the thousands along the 5 and a half mile parade route. (The parade was seen by millions more around the country and world). “This is all new for me,” the legend commented. “I love challenges. And I love new stuff. Opening a parade festivities with a performance is different for me."

We wonder here at headquarters whether the grand marshal-performer is a double duty Rose Parade first? Hmmm...we shall investigate!

The new album is expected to drop by the end of 2019. Khan says she never quite recording from 2008-2018, however, she just quietly stopped releasing production. She also took care of herself physically and more importantly mentally made up for all those lonely years on the road by substituting it by spending time with family and friends.

She also needed time to pull herself together after a couple alarming/odd live performances throughout the last decade as well. There's also the April 2016 passing of her close old friend Prince, who sadly passed of an accidental drug overdose. Then if you gals and gents remember, Khan entered rehab to deal with her own prescription-drug addiction to pills.

“You cover up and rethink your whole life. You’ve got to rethink yourself.” Khan says. We can't wait for her comeback album. Solely based on her first two singles, "Like Sugar" and the newbie "Hello Happiness".

The regal and American treasure that is Chaka Khan enters 2019 bravely and brightly. Let's wave ready to Chaka as she makes her righteous return into the musique industry!

:: On a quick cute sidenote, Chaka said that she had to learn how to make an official Rose tournament parade wave."Raising your arm, cupping your hand and moving it back and forth ever so slightly. You use as little energy as necessary. You know, the Queen is very stingy with her energy.”
