Melkbelly – “Where’s Your Head At” (Basement Jaxx Cover)

The Chicago four-piece known as Melkbelly unleashed their debut album, Nothing Valley. They’ve apparently been hustling on the road since. But what we're most ecstatic to be sharing is their sharing of this stellar fantastical  cover of dance house electronic legends Basement Jaxx’s “Where’s Your Head At.”

The early ’00s Brit dance ditty created a dance floor uproar blending superbly with the group’s chaotic energy. Melkbelly's version is just as frantic, but also perfectly mixes dance noise with pop-tingz.

In an era where we are living on a digitally distorted planet, this celebration seems quite mint and fit.
The group spilt the tea about the cover in the following: “A great way to combat the current bleakness of life is with loud music that you can yell and jump around to. This song is that. It also reminds us that anyone can get mentally/emotionally exhausted so check in with yourself and call your friends!”

Click yes on your phone pads honey rockers and get into the groove...
