Thee iconic and extraterrestrial, Queen Of Alternative Experimental Pop, Bjork has a new documentary series entitled 'Work In Progress'. In the first episode of WeTransfer’s produced documentary, the Icelandic chanteuse chit chats and spills the tea about her collaborative efforts with vanguard visual artist Jesse Kanda.
Working with one another to manifest Björk's visceral and visual story for her latest album ‘Utopia’. The legend also talks about how when it comes to her aesthetic language, the musique video format is one of the most incredible forms of expression there is.
Jesse Kanda directed the music video for the record tune “Arisen My Senses’. There are grimy thingamabobs, aliens, and other unidentifiable motifs. This is Bjork we're talking about after all.
She refers to Kanda as the following: "Being both pure and sensual in his work." saying that his “interesting mix of contrasts translates perfectly with their shared vision of creating living and organic aesthetics."
