Daphne Guinness Goes To Space In David LaChapelle Video

The fashion muse, afficinado and artisitic being that is Daphne Guinness has collaborated with art director David LaChapelle in a video for her video single "Evening In Space" featured on Chappelle's own site .

Papermagazine describes the video ... "Produced by Tony Visconti, the dramatic track features cinematic strings with a grainy guitar, while Guinness' deep voice booms above like a modern-day Nico. "I spent an evening in space, man, feel like an alien/Far from ecstasy in a parallel reality," she moans, dressed in otherworldly Iris Van Herpen and Noritaka Tatehana pieces. Meanwhile, every frame looks like a high-fashion editorial, climaxing, literally, with a pink-skinned alien sex scene."

"Daphne Guinness consolidates her move into music with a theatrical, mesmerising new music video directed by acclaimed image-maker David LaChapelle. Evening in Space was produced by Tony Visconti and is the first single from Guinness' upcoming debut album, which is billed for release in September 2014. The video features custom fashion by many of Guinness' favourite houses, including Iris van Herpen and Noritaka Tatehana, alongside pieces from her own celebrated clothing collection.
