The Rolling Stones Go On A Trip 2000 Light Years From Home

The year was 1967 and the Rolling Stones we're on a drug fueled existence while working on the  psychedelic rock album Their Satanic Majesties Request. The track we are featuring off the album is the trippy "2000 Light Years From Home" which is noted that frontman Mick Jagger wrote the lyrics for while incarcerated for a drug bust for illegal pills and cannabis at his bands wild house party with his then girlfriend English singer, songwriter Marianne Faithfull.

The recorded track was experimental with the band even playing one of the recorded gutar chords in reverse on the final version that adds to the experimental sound from a time in the bands career which was full of turmoil and heavy drug use but none the less created an album that some how fell together.

Lets enjoy the heavy heavy sounds of The Rolling Stones "2000 Light Years From Home" in a promo video recorded  back in '67 and remastered for our viewing pleasure today with some added LSD inspired artwork.
