Its The New Carrie Bradshaw!

"The Carrie Diaries" based on the book series written by Candace Bushnell of Sex And The City fame brings to the TV screens the newest adaption of Carrie Bradshaw as a teen growing up in the 1980's serving as a prequel to the hit HBO series and is developed by the team who brought us CW's Gossip Girl.

Carrie who will be played by newcomer AnnaSophia Robb is the first of the characters to get the official press release.

“When AnnaSophia Robb walked into the room, we knew we had found her,” writer/executive producer Amy B. Harris said in a release. “The fact that she loves a gorgeous pair of heels doesn’t hurt either,” she added. Of dressing the young Carrie Bradshaw, costume designer Eric Damon said, “It’s a rare invitation to dress a character whose reputation truly precedes her. Having played a hand in designing for the Carrie we know and love, I am honored to be chosen to carry the torch — to illuminate the woman we know by discovering the young lady she was.”

We cannot wait to see more from the newest incarnation of Sex And The City especially the newest faces for Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda!

Have A Very Merry Birthday Mister Andrew Lloyd Webber!

Andrew Lloyd Webber was born on March 23rd in 1948. Lloyd is an English composer of musical theatre. His first composition came at the age of six, and published his first piece at nine. Well if that ain't impressive, than I don't know what is.

Lloyd Webber has achieved great pop dominance, with several musicals that have run for more than a decade both in the West End and on Broadway. He has composed well over 10 musicals I believe. A musique discography that has gained much attention in the theater world, including most notably my favorite tune, "The Music of the Night", from The Phantom of the Opera.

I had the pleasure of seeing this musical at the Pantages theater in Hollywood, courtesy from a friend of mine via an Xmas gift.
