We may be one late, but that's no reason why not to celebrate and mention that our favorite Colombian (Sorry Sofia!) shakira turned 35 yesterday on February 2nd of 2012. Born with quite thee shortest name, Isabel Mebarak Ripoll (Daaang!), Shakira is a singer-songwriter, musician, record producer, dancer and philanthropist. Below is probably the best piece of music video art that Shakira has created to date. An instant Spanish classic in my book.
