Louis Vuitton and Burberry are fighting the fight against fakery, and now they've won their first battle against trademark counterfeiters. Imitation is never a form of flattery unless thee action of fraudulence is made with thee intent of honoring, crediting or attributing the individual/busniess organization.
We said it once and we'll say it again kiddas. Here at itsnotyouitsme, we know all too well in dealing with this type of subject matter. Stealing someone elses creativity is NEVER OK ladies and gentlemen. Dealing with much unfortunate experiences in this department with past associates and certain relationships...I've always said, 'Be who you are, on purpose!' "The largest ever judgment in a trademark counterfeiting and copyright case in Canada, Louis Vuitton will receive CAD $1.4 million (about USD $1.5 million) and Burberry will receive CAD $1.1 million (about USD $1.14 million). Who’s paying up? Canadian companies Singga Enterprises Inc., and Carnation Fashion Company, which have been selling fake LV and Burberry handbags for about three years." - Fashionista.com
And I know most of you are thinking, well, it's quite easy to get away with such a rip-off. They're everywhere. Well we say, don't be surprised if mister lawyer man comes a knocking!
