Oprah Winfrey along with True Blood creator Alan Ball are teaming up to make an HBO movie. The two will create a film based on thee nonfiction novel 'The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks'. According to the AP, the story, written by Rebecca Skloot, is "the true account of an African-American woman who died of cervical cancer in the 1950s and the nonconsensual use of her tumor for medical exploration use after her death."
There is no set date on when production will commence but we'll surely keep you kiddas updated as news unfolds.
