When an 81-year-old Ohio man named Parley Nichols, who suffered from dementia, was found dead about a mile from where he lived a week after he went missing. Parley's loyal dog companion Lady, stuck around with him for the duration of the week. Police assume that Lady left his side only on one occasion and that was to drink water from a close by water ditch. Parley's body was found after Lady began barking and yelping at some stranger strolling by. The coroner's investigator went on to say, 'No question, she stayed out there on her own volition.' Parley's family will now take care of Lady for the rest of her days.
