Video Premiere Nicki Minaj - I Am Your Leader

Looks like Nicki Minaj has hit us again with another great video this time for "I Am Your Leader" the third urban single off her Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded disc. Directed by Colin Tilley, Minaj is set in a house of fun in something straight out of a Looney Tunes cartoon meets the afterlife in 80s comedy horror flick Beetlejuice.

 The video is fun colorful and might we add its the best we've seen Minaj looking in a recent video.

Sebastian Sauvé is one of our favorite faces and personalities here at itsnotyouitsme so he if someone wants to create a 8 foot tall steel statue of the 7 agency represented 1/2 American, 1/2 German model, why not?

What is Sebastian? Sebastian is a unique larger-than-life steel statue of the model Sebastian Sauvé. Taking its main inspirations from the myth of Narcissus, Charles Ray’s Boy with Frog and the Greco-Roman depictions of the youth Antinous, this project is both an exploration of contemporary representations of the masculine form and a comment on the icon and its place in contemporary culture. Alongside the finished stainless steel statue, which will stand over 8 feet tall, a number of smaller identical limited edition versions are being produced. Once complete, the full-size statue will be exhibited internationally before finding a permanent home.

Have A Very Merry Birthday Mister Julian Casablancas!!!

Julian Fernando Casablancas was thankfully born into the universe on August 23, in 1978. He is a vocal predator, and main songwriter of the band 'The Strokes." He recorded his first ever solo venture with the album 'Phrazes For The Young' in 2009 and is back with The Strokes after a short hiatus. Julian Casablancas' voice features a punch that delivers a wide range in pitch and combines elements of grit and soul. He claims to draw inspiration from the likes of Lou Reed and Jim Morrison.  With 'Phrazes for the Young', he was influenced by the book of Oscar Wilde "Phrases and Philosophies for the Use of the Young".


I guess you can say Julian is partly to blame for my evolution and adoration into modern rock 'n' roll musique. Seeing The Strokes live for the first time back in 2001 at the baby age of 14, you could imagine the impact and impression that was left on me ever since than. His energy, although showcased mostly in small steps while singing across the stage, transcends a feeling of definitive and masterful rock star presence that only this New Yorker can make come alive nowadays.


He's my favorite. Here's to you Julian, on your special day. Hoorah! Hoorah!
