Rihanna, Debbie Harry, Kylie Minogue and more Join the Movement for More Birthdays

The American Cancer Society has created a campaign in the fight against Cancer called "The movement for more birthdays".

The campaign enlisted many familiar artist such as Rihanna, Debbie Harry and Kylie Minogue to help aid in awareness of the disease that can affect anyone and also to raise awareness of the services the American Cancer Society can offer those affected by the in some cases preventable disease.

The movement for more birthdays

We believe every birthday you celebrate is a victory. Another year that cancer has not prevailed. Your birthday means everything to us. That's why we're dedicated to creating a world with less cancer and more birthdays. But helping create these birthdays has taken hard work -- decades of scientific research, advocacy, patient support, and much more. Thanks in part to our work, 11 million cancer survivors will celebrate another birthday this year. But we can't stop there. With your help, we can create a world with even more celebrations, more laughter ... and more birthdays for all. Join us.

To help join in on the fight please visit for the many ways you can help someone you love see another birthday.

The Strokes Invade David Letterman's Studio

On the same day as the new Strokes album "Angles" was released, the rebel boys from New York continue to keep tradition alive by performing their first televised gigs in their home state. Although, on their last two goes with the records, "First Impressions Of Earth" and "Room On Fire" found the boys performing a few stints on the now defunct NBC late night show w/ Conan O'Brien (has since switched coasts & can now be seen on TBS).

The Strokes have now set camp on The David Letterman Show powerfully ripping through a never performed tune, "Taken For A Fool" off the new record. Dig all the rocking ruckus below.

Curiouser & Curiouser by Guzman

In a nod to classic English countryside style, Alastair Coldrey, Scott Barnhill and Stuart Jones infuse a cadaverous feel (a la Johnny Depp in Alice in Wonderland) to the shoot, under the direction and style of Guzman and Jo Levin, respectively. Courtesy of -
