The Many Reasons Why I Love Her...

One More.

The Great Valentino. A Look Behind The Glitter.

The tune playing is are most songs for fashion ads. The song is written just for this - “Valentino Loves You” by Sophie Carpentier.

What The Mahjiggers?!?

Katie Holmes re-enacts a legendary performance originally sung and performed by the imcomparable Judy Garland. "Get Happy” a favorite dance-performance of mine...seems to have fallen waaaaaaaaaay short of expectations. Her uncoordinated and at times down-right sloppy choreography became more shameful to Judy's legacy. She needs to stick to here day job as Tom Cruises' nanny.

There's no comparison. Not the slightest of bit.

Tim Burton's Alice In Wonderland OFFICIAL Trailer

Jay-Z Feat.Rihanna & Kanye West

Jay-z's second single "Run this town" off his highly anticipated album "The Blueprint 3", is sure to get more attention than his last tune, D.O.A. Besides the unoriginal melody, Rihanna sings her first chorus post the horrific incident that took place last February. And with the help from Mister West, it's a bonified top 40radio hit.

Razor Blade New

New Model Irina Shayk’s just signed to IMG and they’re showcasing their new "it" girl with much more than your typical model card/site proclamation.

The video below unravels a new approach strategy from IMG(well from any modeling agency that is). I think it should be the only way from now on!

Johnny Depp and Carol Channing together at last?

So apparently Jonnhy Depp has shown interest in portraying Carol Channing in a film...and this is what the legendary actress had to say in response.

"It is not a new concept to me. Not at all. Men have been imitating me for as long as I can remember. In fact, most of the impersonations I have seen have had a five o'clock shadow. I imagine, when or if Johnny should portray me, he will succeed. Because a true artist, such as himself, is one who loves his or her creation and therefore represents their honest view of that which they are creating. I think he is a gifted performer and I would be very proud, as well as interested in seeing what his vision of me would be. Johnny is someone I would very much like to help me and my foundation to bring the Arts back into the the public school system in America."

I'd have to agree 100% with Missus Channin. A true artist, such as Johnny, is one of the few actors of this generation(along with Cate Blanchett ,Kate Winslet,Daniel Day Lewis,Penelope Cruz...) who love his or her creation and therefore represents their honest view of that which they are creating.

I tilt my top hat to you Ms.Channing! Perfectly put.

Hugh Dancy. Actor at Play

An actor who always remains under the radar in hollywood, but nonetheless unleashes quailty films with smart acting abilitys...Is featured in the new issue of "Black Book". He portrays the likes of James Dean, Oscar Wilde,Jackson Poolock, and Sid Vicious!

Here are some wonderous quotes from the Chic and intelligent Mister Dancy.

On Sex Pistols’ Sid Vicious,“He had a wild, self-destructive bent,” says Dancy, “and I guess there’s something rebellious about that. But to be a real rebel, you must have a clear vision of not only what you don’t like, but also what you want to replace it with. It’s about more than just cutting yourself with a razor.”

"Dancy, who graduated from the University of Oxford with a degree in English literature, aligned himself most closely with the late-Victorian era writer Oscar Wilde. “I think Wilde did something remarkable,” he says, “at least by the standards of his society. He painted his vision of life, not only by being gay, but also through his shockingly new ideas about how we should look at art.

“Lord Byron was also clearly a remarkable man,” he adds, referring to the controversial, flamboyant pioneer of Romanticism. “He clearly didn’t give two shits about what anybody thought of him.”

Dakota Fanning as Cherie

In the musical drama, this 15-year-old(Ultra Tre-chic) actress plays lead vocalist Cherie Currie for The Runaways. A biopic on the all-teen girl punk rock band formed in Hollywood in the 70s, opens in theaters next year...

Costar Kristen Stewart(another bombshell) portrays The Runaways bandmate Joan Jett.

Madonna's Celebration!

Madonna will unleash the greatest hits album "Celebration" on Sept. 29

The collection will include hits from the Queen of Pop's entire career and will include Two New Songs! The title track, is said to have been recorded in New York and co-produced by Paul Oakenfold. This will be her first single and it's scheduled to hit radio on Aug. 3.

While the tracklist for "Celebration" has yet to be known, I can only imagine a gunload of Madonna's most notable hits shall be included.

In a press release, her label confirmed that "Celebration" will contain songs "remastered and selected by Madonna and her fans" including "Everybody," "Express Yourself," "Vogue" and "4 Minutes."

"The album will be available in both single-disc and double-disc configurations and a DVD of the icon's music videos will also be issued simultaneously. It was unclear at press time if the DVD would be offered as a stand-alone product or come bundled in a CD/DVD package."

The press release is also announcing that..."the DVD is set to include some of Madonna's iconic video clips that have "never before been available on DVD." (Could it be her famously banned "Justify My Love, American Life, and Hollywood")

Madonna's 27 year career has spanned a catalog of iconic dance-club ready tunes that still remind us til this day...only when dancing can you feel so free! Not to mention a music video and performance artist that leaves her audience in an enchantment of aesthetic pleasures. Although this is Madge's last album to be released on Warner Bros. Records. In 2007, she signed with Live Nation which will include her future in recording music.

Madonna signed to the Warner Bros. label Sire in 1982 and released her first single, "Everybody," that year. Her eponymous debut album was released in 1983(which i own thee original vinyl) and carried with it her first hit, "Holiday."

Since then she has earned seven No. 1 albums, including her last four studio sets... 2008's "Hard Candy," 2005's "Confessions On a Dance Floor," 2003's "American Life" and 2000's "Music."

Here is, Perhaps my favorite Madonna tune of all time.

This is Marina and the Diamonds Debut single and video.
Released on Neon Gold Records. The groups visual concepts really allow their songs to take flight. Allow the sweet melody to drift through the sounds within your perimeter.
