Finally, A Posthumous Artwork We're Here For! Prince’s Previously Unreleased Tune ‘Cosmic Day’ has arrived!

Finally, a posthumous artwork we're here for! Prince’s previously unreleased tune ‘Cosmic Day’ has been unleashed. The Prince Estate went digging for some gold in the vault for another previously unreleased tune.

Although usually these sounds were never supposed to see the light of day because the artist for one reason or another never released them to begin with. However, “Cosmic Day” is a different tale.

The track was produced back in November on the 15th in 1986.  It all went down at Sunset Sound, Studio . Fellow artist with engineers Susan Rogers and Coke Johnson helmed the stellar project.

A press release in regards to 'Cosmic Day’ said the following: “While the song had floated among ardent collectors as a small snippet, the full version reveals Prince at his most psychedelic. From the race car ignition sounding intro to the screaming guitar finale, Prince sings about Mermen in the sky and flying in the deep sea.”

Following the release of “Witness 4 The Prosecution (Version 1)” back in June of this summer. Plus a 1979 version of “I Could Never Take the Place of Your Man,” recently showcased this past July. Both were sorta lackluster light pop rockers . But now after jazzing and grooving out to Prince’s “Cosmic Day”, it is quite uniquely unique sonically as the musique master himself.

In his full falsetto and psychedelic 80s headspace. Prince in key pitch goes by thee alias name “Camille” when singing in the particular register. Snippets have been circulated around Prince collectors. But this is the first time the song is available in its pure alluring entirety. Sign O’ the Times is set for a September 25th release. Brought to us by the Prince Estate in partnership with Warner Records.
