The Kills 10th Anniversary Performance of 'Sour Cherry' on "Conan"

We could not be more ecstatic that a band like The Kills that once upon a time reinvented thee underground indie rock landscape are now celebrating the 10th anniversary of their 2008 monster hit album "Midnight Boom."

We hold a very special treasure trove of what we like to call, "favorite-favorite all-time favorites." It's basically a holy trinity list of pioneering-incomparable artists that are innately born with that extra pizzaz, that unique it-factor. One of those diety names is lead singer Alison Mosshart. The Kills frontwoman and all around rock goddess on talented legs is an alternative group that we've mentioned in the past alongside the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The Rapture, The Strokes, Franz Ferdinand, The Faint and many others who served up a timeless unique moment in indie rock history that catapulted and forever molded future pop culture styles.

It was a time where you could be in your thrift shop threads, doing your own hair, make-up, and radical thing. It was kind of a time when there seemed to be Space. A more eccentric individualism. There were more authentic personalities, a real genre of dancing.

So today's appearance on Conan to celebrate such an anniversary has got quivers down our backbone. Performing the phenomenally saucy track "Sour Cherry," the heavyweight guitars and drums melded impeccably with the British-American twosome.

Alison Mosshart shares her stage with musician and collaborator Jamie Hince. Showcasing that they haven't lost their rock n roll touch, filled with rowdy sounds and punk presence, Mosshart's powerful raw vocal ensured for a sour punch filled performance. Making our hearts beat double time, after watching this nostalgic moment, we will all be only sour cherries on the fruit stand.
