'Jane Fonda in Five Acts' Trailer Shows Candid Look at Actress' Personal Life




"I am what I am." Those are the hauntingly beautiful and eloquent self-described words thee inimitable and incomparable actress extraordinaire Jane Fonda opend in her upcoming biographical documentary,"Jane Fonda in Five Acts."

HBO unleashed thee first trailer for thee Susan Lacy directed film featuring muse Jane Fonda  which gives a candid and very raw look into the life, career, activism, and controversies that surrounded actress Jane throughout her five-decade illustrious resume.

Once upon a time, long ago, in a galaxy far far away, the trailer shows Fonda being introduced as "one of Hollywood's most exciting new stars". Followed by a present and now more excited Jane Fonda in 2018 declaring in a voiceover, "This is the beginning of my last act. In order to know how to go forward, I'm gonna have to know where I've been."

During her early years, she did divulge and admit, "I wanted to please my dad. I never felt real. I just thought, 'I gotta find who I really am.' "


Fonda discusses her activism, which remains one of thee most polarizing times in pop culture political history during her subjective fight against the Vietnam War. "I'm proud of most of what I did and I'm very sorry for some of what I did." She also spills the tea on her three marriages to eclectic characters Roger Vadim, Tom Hayden and Ted Turner. Stating that "none of my marriages were democratic because I had to be a certain way. I had to look a certain way."

This documentary is gonna be a yummy one carebears. It also includes interviews from several of Fonda's amigos and costar mates, Robert Redford, Lily Tomlin, Dolly Parton, and "Grace & Frankie" co-star Sam Waterston.
