Your Smith's "The Spot"

Allow us to introduce you honey rockers to the stellar Los Angeles-based musician Your Smith (aka Caroline Smith) Unleashing the premiere musique video for the groovy tune "The Spot," via Neon Gold Records (Charli XCX), the saucy sleek Minneapolis native is inspired by songwriters from her coming of age years.

"The Spot" give you all the quivers down your backbone the same way in the 90's legend Sheryl Crow did with her monster classic hit "All I Wanna Do". Why do you ask we mention that specific song? Well because the similarities are uncanny. In the most wonderful way that is. Published by Pulse Recordings who represent other ItsNotYouItsMe artists Miike Snow & Gallant)

Your Smith is a yummy sunny summer delight. She is currently threading the last needle points on her debut EP, produced by Tommy English (BØRNS), Stint (Gallant) and Nicky J*Davey.

She describes her giddy jams as, "the feeling of the 90s and the warmth and dustiness of the sounds mixed with the exciting evolution of modern music; the carefree vocals and the wholly accepted blur between masculinity and femininity in the music scene. Your Smith is an embodiment of that identity. The blur, the warmth, and the familiarity. The change in name is less of a reinvention and more of an engagement with that part of me. I'm still me. I'm still your Smith.

Without further ado carebears, spin that record babes!
