G-Eazy On Stepping Away From H&M, Being A Crazy Gemini, Halsey & More


Cutie patootie and all-around dapper rapper G-Eazy takes a stroll by our favorite OG whistleblower radio station show The Breakfast Club. Currently promoting his latest release "The Beautiful & Damned", featuring his now biggest hit to date with thee Cardi B & A$AP Rocky feature assist "No Limit." Thee rapper recently found himself making the difficult yet brave and righteous decision to end a partnership in the midst of starting his new clothing line with H&M.

"I was excited about H&M to put clothes all around the world and do something that I liked and was cool with, and then I saw that happened, and it was like I’m not cool with it," G-Eazy said during hih interview. The rapper announced Tuesday that he was ending his partnership with the company after a photo went viral of a black boy modeling a hoodie that read "Coolest Monkey in the Jungle." He felt the image was disturbing and "so racially and culturally insensitive." - Billboard.com




In regards to his partying like a rock star where he's taken a page from Old Hollywood and dipping and doing it up the right way. Sex drugs and rock n roll is the name of G-Eazy's game. With addiction, Charlemagne Tha God asked asked as he always does, very candidly, about the constant references to Studio 54-ing it on his record. “I don’t know if its recreation or if you’re trying to escape something?” Tha God asked.

“Well, I think that’s a blurry line, its not black and white,” Gerald said (yes that's his name kiddas). “I think sometimes the line between recreation or just tapping in turns into leaning on or depending on or escaping from.”

DJ Envy then chimed in asking , “What gets you out of that dark hole?” G-Eazy replied, “It’s a balance, it’s a vicious cycle, I’m not gonna lie. Sometimes I’ll just be smooth and tap out for a couple weeks and just be.”
