Video Premiere Metronomy - Love Letters

Electronic dance band Metronomy gets the director Michel Gondry treatment in the new video for their second single "Love Letters" off the same album name.

The late 60's sounding glam rock tune is a departure for the band who mostly have focused on electronic dance but this track is a fine one by us.

Good Ol' Blue Eyes

What do you think happens when you mix thee astounding voice of
Frank Sinatra  with the musical artist Antonio Carlos Jobim aka "The Father of Bossa Nova"? get 1967's album "Francis Albert Sinatra & Antonio Carlos Jobim". This album has Sinatra singing Bossa Nova songs which were made famous 5 years before by Jobim and other Brazilian performers such as Astrud Gilberto and Stan Getz. Some of these songs are: "The Girl From Ipanema", "Corcovado", and "Meditation".

The album went on to get nominated for a Grammy the following year. "In November 1967 Sinatra & Jobim teamed up with the legendary Ella Fitzgerald to star in a television special called "A Man and His Music + Ella + Jobim".

After taking some time to watch numerous clips of this special, I noticed that some tunes as "Going Out Of My Head" & "What Now My Love" were featured!

Kanye West’s Latest Nike Sneakers Going for Over $16 Million on eBay

Would you pay 16 Million Dollars for a shoe! A SHOE! Check out the very high priced Kanye West Nike sneaker that has EBay marking up the sold out item

Back in November, during his much-hyped Yeezus tour, Kanye West used the stage at a handful of arenas as a very public forum to air his grievances about his failed collaboration with Nike. The rapper cut ties with the label due to creative differences and its reported refusal to pay him royalties for his sneaker designs — he released his first Air Yeezy shoes in 2009 — and opted to sign a deal with Adidas instead.

However, West had one more design on deck before the partnership was severed: the elusive, all-red Air Yeezy 2 “Red October” sneakers, which went on sale without any warning over the weekend.

According to Vibe, the shoes hit Nike’s website around 1 p.m. on Sunday without warning or promotion, and shoppers were alerted by a lone tweet sent by the brand. The sneakers, which retailed for $245, were sold out in 10 minutes, and many fans were shut out. Of course, a handful of the Red Octobers hit eBay shortly thereafter, and one pair in the UK is currently going for £10 million, or $16.39 MILLION. For sneakers.

Sure, the sneakers are pretty cool, but we doubt even West’s fiancé Kim Kardashian would drop that much cash on a pair of shoes. At the very least, this makes West’s $6,000 Giuseppe Zanotti heels from a few seasons ago seem like a

All we can say is Uh-huh, honey.

Video Premiere Annie Ft. Bjarne Melgaard - RUSSIAN KISS

Annie has hit the Internets with her latest single "Russian Kiss" in support of the Russian Gay community who are facing unheard of hate crimes by their very own government. The high octane techno track blends well into the video featuring men, women kissing and embracing their sexual identities without prejudice.

Everyone in every corner of the world should have basic human rights including the right to love who they chose to love.

The Winter Olympics are not just skating styles, waxing techniques and jump lengths. The Winter Olympics are also deep emotions: interpersonal, national, and global. Millions of TV-viewers are witness to these emotions. Usually, they find their expression in embraces and kisses. You can observe this at the finishing area and during the medal ceremony — teammates embracing each other, winners kissing their partners.

This may be difficult when the Olympic Games take place in Sochi in February. As we know, Vladimir Putin has introduced laws prohibiting gays and lesbians to show their love in public in Russia. Furthermore, it is prohibited to talk positively about homosexuality in public. This is the reason why an increasing number of leaders worldwide have decided to boycott this year’s Olympics. In Norway, the political leadership has rejected calls to remain at home. As a great power in winter sports Norway is in a unique position to flex its muscles in a situation like this. This could have been an occasion for Norway to stand up for the fundamental right to express your feelings towards the one you love.

In Norway, many gays and lesbians — and not only gays and lesbians — have reacted against this. One of them is one of Norway’s best-known elite artists: The New York-based artist Bjarne Melgaard ( Therefore, at the beginning of December, together with the Norwegian songwriter and performer Annie (, he took the initiative to Russian Kiss: a short movie about the right to kiss one’s beloved — regardless of sexual orientation — wherever one likes.

Melgaard invited the photographer and director Richard Kern – – to direct the movie; famous for his collaborations with Marilyn Manson, Sonic Youth, Indochine and Is Tropical. On short notice Kern and his team joined forces with Annie and Melgaard.

The result is “Russian Kiss” – a critical cry from Norwegian and American elite performers — albeit not from the Olympic disciplines.
