Looking like a Hollywood Starlett Miss Lily Allen lands the cover of Elle UK where she candidly (as she always does) speaks on fame and the music buisness.

On the pressure to be perfect: “Of course I’d rather look like Kate Moss than look like myself. I wish I didn’t feel like that, and I think the reason we feel like that is because of the imagery we’re fed all the time. Women are still expected, in some weird way, to kind of… sit there and look pretty. And not talk.”

On fame: “I don’t want to be a famous person. But [with] the nature of the industry, when I have an album to promote, I do want to be famous. I want people to buy it! And I want them to go to my shows. That’s how it works. I think of myself as a product in that sense. But I don’t want that frenzy. I think it’s weird for children to grow up around that.”

On coming back to music after her threats to retire from the music industry: By the end, I was physically and mentally exhausted and really pissed off. This was pre-phone hacking scandal, so those lines hadn’t been drawn. People just didn’t give a shit, and there weren’t any barriers. I did feel at that time that I wanted to leave and never come back. But I’m not the sort of person who can sit at home and look after [children] all day… there was a void. I’m a creative person, I like to speak my mind. Making music is the perfect vehicle for that.”

Robert Redford

The year was 1972 when Robert Redford and director Sydney Pollack attended the Cannes to promote their movie entitled 'Jeremiah Johnson'. You can see both gentlemen sporting very 70s like attire. Redford rocked the white trousers, along with boots and some 'oval shaped acetate aviators'. Pollack opted for high waisted trousers with aviators.

Target Goes Peter Pilotto

Print and colour-focused brand Peter Pilotto our moving their runway over to Target stores for a special line thats got us feeling Mighty Real!

No matter how many times you’ve clicked through the Peter Pilotto x Target look book, there’s nothing quite like seeing clothing in motion. Enter the collaboration’s first official TV commercial, which, quite frankly in my opinion, was the highlight of last night’s hopelessly anticlimactic episode of “The Bachelor.”

Models Jourdan Dunn, Jessica Stam, Yumi Lambert (whom you may remember from Chanel’s spring 2013 campaign), and look book star Daniela Braga appear in the 30-second spot, which echoes the collection’s high energy prints with some erratic dance moves set to the tune of Sylvester’s 1978 disco anthem “You Make Me Feel (Mighty Real).”

Between the groovy soundtrack, pretty girls and ultra-cheerful, modern threads… it’s a pretty good time. Peter Pilotto x Target hits stores and online Feb. 9.

Video Premiere St. Vincent -

St. Vincent has quickly returned to creating new music with a forthcoming self titled album due out February 25th and the second single accompanied with a video "Digital Witness" is  a funky dance track about living life through the television screen.

Directed by Chino Moya the perfectly sterile video is fashion meets architecture that reminds of german electronic group Kraftwerk or a medically induced dream. The sound is best described by lead singer Annie Clark quoted as "I wanted to make a party record you could play at a funeral."

The Super Bowl Is No Problem For Bruno Mars

Super Bowl 2014 has passed us by and the highlight of the night was Bruno Mars capturing of the famous  Halftime show a 13 minute best which also featured The Red Hot Chili Peppers for some added extravaganza.

Wearing custom Saint Laurent suits Mars and his merry band of men entertained and shined giving us more of a show then the actual game tried to.

Prabal Gurung Unveils First-Ever Print Campaign for Spring 2014 takes a look at designer Prabal Gurung's first print ad's and they are one to flip the pages for. 

While Prabal Gurung has released beautiful ad campaigns in seasons past — starring the likes of Candice Swanepoel, Joan Smalls and Julia Saner — none have them have ever gone to print. That’s changing for Spring 2014, and the designer, who’s been a champion of online-only campaigns, just revealed his first print ads in WWD. Shot by Dan Jackson and styled by Gurung’s longtime collaborator Tina Laakkonen, the campaign stars model Liya Kebede and features a futuristic piece from the designer’s standout spring collection. Gurung didn’t go entirely old-school, however: The designer teased the campaign with a mysterious video of a burning rose on Instagram and slowly revealed the campaign star through a series of tweets. -

Lacoste’s Spring Campaign Is Giving Us Vertigo

If Red Bull Gives You Wings then Lacoste Must give you balance!

Lacoste has just released its Spring 2014 campaign and seriously, we think we might be ill. It’s not that the campaign is poorly done or anything — quite the contrary. The models and clothes look lovely; the colors, serene. But it’s giving us may-jor vertigo.

Titled “Life Is a Beautiful Sport” (or in Dhani’s words, “Life is a beautiful sport… until you fall and die”), the dizzying ads, which were “created” by photog Jason Sutton — we’re gonna assume there was some major post-production involved here — sees models Kati Nescher and Roch Barbot engaging in various leisurely activities atop terrifyingly tall places in New York City: A street lamp, the ledge of a skyscraper, the upper cable of a suspension bridge. Holy hyperventilation.

Lacoste describes the campaign’s concept as “poetically portray[ing] men and women elegantly proceeding ‘above’ the city and life’s tribulations.” We see it more as… Ach gahd can someone please spare a paper bag??

Video Premiere Kylie Minogue - Into The Blue

The first video single from Miss Kylie Minogue's upcoming twelfth studio album "Kiss Me Once" is here and its one of those visuals that make you appreciate a song more.

Directed by long time colaborator Dawn Shadforth, who previous captured “Spinning Around,” “Can’t Get You Out Of My Head” and “2 Hearts,” Kylie is film chic, in this beautifully sophisticated video with her on camera beau French actor Clement Sibony.

Its simply grand to watch Kylie in her own in her latest era of music.
