ItsNotYouItsMe Album Spin Kelis - FOOD

Eclectic singer-song writer and now certified chef Kelis has released her sixth studio album, FOOD. Produced by TV On The Radio's Dave Sitek.  Kelis ventures to her past with soul, funk, gospel, and Afrobeat's lyrically telling of her relationship wth Rapper Nas, inspiration from her young son and the journey of love and simplicity along the way.

Kelis says the process was quite similar to her best-known work. "Whether it was the Neptunes, who are extremely musical and played everything live, or even working with people like Raphael Saadiq, I've been able to create something that feels like you’re in the room, living the music."
