Versace's 2013 Spring Menswear Collection

We're back kiddas! We start our pick of  the best 2013 Spring/Summer Menswear collection with Versace. Fashion week Spring/Summer 2013 is exploding everywhere left and right. So we have decided to cover and to inform all you dedicated and darling followers of ours with official coverage from the shows. Note: The picture selections you see are our picks exclusively. There is obviously much more in the collection itself. But as always, I only select the pieces that speak to me, the ones that make me feel something from an expressionist point of view.

Below is a excerpt from Fashionista.com with their take on Donatella's line-
No one expects a Versace collection to be subtle, but Donatella really amped it up–even by Versacian standards–for her spring 2013 menswear collection. She sent a bunch of buff gladiators (she called them “pugilists”) down the runway, complete with huge belts and gladiator sandals. Imagine Russell Crowe in hot pink, wearing a huge medallion, and with his ass hanging out, and you have an idea of the vibe.

The house is celebrating its return to underwear and swimwear, so there was no shortage of banana hammocks and mesh undies. According to Tim Blanks at Style.com, the show notes called the Versace guy “part Rocky, part Elvis, part Mr. T.” Blanks called it a “Roman orgy staged in a Miami discotheque.” How fun is that? Go watch the runway show over on Versace’s Facebook page, and if that opening run–featuring Queen’s “We Will Rock You”–doesn’t put you (or your guy) in the mood for a body harness accessorized with metallic wrestling sneakers, we don’t know what will.
