Let The Cannes Film Festival Continue!

Since we're on the topic of the Cannes Film Festival (scroll slightly above), we're looking back at a couple moments hight lighting the half of last centuries festival! Cary Grant took a walk along the 'Boulevard de la Croisette' as he filmed his 1955 flick "To Catch A Thief". Opting for a breather during its filming, Cary walked alongside the Boulevard de la Croisette during the festivities which I can imagine made his stroll more interesting amidst the flashing light bulbs.

The Boulevard de la Croisette is a long winding road that extends throughout the Cannes entire coastline, giving only what I can imagine are gorgeous views besides the Mediterranean Sea, alongside equally famed hotels and restaurants all of which are in close proximity.

Cary Grant's outfit is truly impeccable. What else can I say about a man who's face should appear in the dictionary next to the term debonair. Strutting a dark jacket with light trousers, parred alongside an opened smart shirt and dark necktie, makes me simply gush!

60's British photographer David Bailey and French actress Catherine Deneuve epitomized glamour while simultaneously ringing in the Cannes Film Festival's 20th anniversary. The married couple at the time, were snapped arriving at the Palais des Festivals in preparation before a screening. Whoo, what a grand looking couple.
