The American Cancer Society has created a campaign in the fight against Cancer called "The movement for more birthdays".

The campaign enlisted many familiar artist such as Rihanna, Debbie Harry and Kylie Minogue to help aid in awareness of the disease that can affect anyone and also to raise awareness of the services the American Cancer Society can offer those affected by the in some cases preventable disease.
The movement for more birthdays

We believe every birthday you celebrate is a victory. Another year that cancer has not prevailed. Your birthday means everything to us. That's why we're dedicated to creating a world with less cancer and more birthdays. But helping create these birthdays has taken hard work -- decades of scientific research, advocacy, patient support, and much more. Thanks in part to our work, 11 million cancer survivors will celebrate another birthday this year. But we can't stop there. With your help, we can create a world with even more celebrations, more laughter ... and more birthdays for all. Join us.
