Call The Police! Paloma Faith Robbed in Hollywood!

Adoringly wonderful British singer( my favorite or as my friends would put it, me and my quirky leading ladies) Paloma Faith was robbed over the week while in Los Angeles working on new material for her upcoming album. The 25 year old Paloma who is staying at a posh West Hollywood Hotel was robbed of her hat collection that she routinely tops herself with.

From Paloma's Twitter:

She later updated her status with a update:

Oh Paloma we feel for you! I would die if my box of vintage pieces or my jewelery chest was stolen from the 'safety' of my home away from home.

Hope your lovely hats turn up and PS we know how LA can be but don't fret there still are some lovely people here.

Ever Wondered What Fashion Night Out Is Like?

Well kiddas, Lauren Sherman has got it covered! Last night, she got a taste of what New York Fashion Week would be like if it was produced by Anna Wintour. Every show would begin on time. Only the best of the best designers would be invited to participate. And the music would be very, very good.

Lauren writes..."Fashion’s Night Out: The Show, which took place last night at the courtyard in Lincoln Center. Over a 1,000 looks–styled by Tabitha Simmons and Edward Enninful–stomped down a twisting runway that must have been a quarter of a mile long in total. Everyone–from Alex Wang to Balenciaga–was featured. Simmons and Enninful chose to style the models as they were originally styled, meaning Prada‘s girls got boufants, and Balenciaga’s wore pastel eyebrows. It was unoriginal, but with so many looks, understandable. Pretty much every model working today walked, including favorites of mine like Dree Hemingway and Ashley Smith. Gisele even made an appearance near the end, shortly after NERD performed in the center of the venue.

The paper program was masterful, save for a weirdly photo-shopped Lara Stone on the cover. (A friend said that her waist “looked tinier than Karly’s–creepy.”) Every single clothing credit was included, which is a two day-long job on its own.

All in all, it was a successful event. Especially for those who hadn’t seen these looks come down the runway last February. I think the most impressive part was that there were only two rows of seats–very similar to the way Prada was laid out for the Fall shows–which meant everyone got their money’s worth."

Amanda Seyfried Covers 'Elle' October 2010

Amanda Seyfried , on the best and worst things about turning 25..."The best thing is, I’m happy. The worst is that I’m scared; the scariest thing is that I know it can’t be easy - the years to come." -
