Peter Dennis Blandford aka Pete Townshend was born today, May 19th in 1945. For so many reasons this man is a TRUE ICON. He is an English rock guitarist, vocalist, songwriter and author. He's more famously known as the guitarist and songwriter for The Who.
According to Wikipedia, The Who is considered to be one of the most influential bands of the rock era, and, according to Eddie Vedder, "possibly the greatest live band ever."
