The Old Curiosity Shop vs. Margo Selby vs. Oki-ni

'With its shop having roots back to 1567 and a Charles Dickens book title, The Old Curiosity Shop collaborated with award winning British textile designer Margo Selby on these exclusive Oki-ni jackets.'Homotography

Creative Director John Skelton explains, 'The jacket shape had been created by the Old Curiosity Shop's designers in a jersey fabrication which looked and felt fantastic so we bought some. Then they showed us some scarfs which were in such strong and interesting fabrics which we also bought. Then we thought, these jackets would be amazing in these fabrics, so, we decided to try producing one. When the sample came back it was obvious that we should produce these in a few different fabric options and we decided to give it a bit more of a summer feel by creating some oversized shorts to go with them. oki-ni is the only place in the world selling this product and there isn’t a lot of it.'

I Dig the cropped jackets but not so much the scarves.

Personally, I am drawn to the scarves more than the jackets, and I think that both of the designs look pretty nice. I never really have been a fan of jackets though. Nice Post.
