"Where the Wild Things Are"

NOW THIS IS MY KIND OF FILM... "Where the Wild Things Are", the film adaptation of the Maurice Sendak 1963 children’s book of the same name.

The movie follows the imaginary adventures of a young boy named Max.

"Children don't grow-up, their bodies just get bigger"

3 Attributes that I feel what makes a True performer...A stellar LIVE vocal set. Confidence in the lyrics being sung. And lastly, a true connection from the singer to the audience/viewer. And the newest British extraordinaire that is VV BROWN is no exception. See for yourself...

V V Brown - Shark in the Water

True Blood actress Anna Paquin rocks a cheongsam 'one-piece Chinese dress for women' at the Late Show with David Letterman outside New York City’s Ed Sullivan theater on Thursday 'July 16'

The academy-award winning actress added a pair of Jimmy Choo patent leopard-print sandals.

Im diggin it, i'm diggin it...

Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland !

New Groovey blowing images from Tim Burton's version of Lewis Carroll-Alice's legendary novel.

Helena Bonham Carter, New fresh faced Mia Wasikowska as Alice, Anne Hathaway, and last but certainly not least Johnny Depp !

Man Of A Thousand Faces

Possibly my favorite tune(besides "Folding Chair and Blue Lips") from the genius that is Regina Spektor off her new album "Far"

Pour some tea from the kettle and simply enjoy the melody and lyrics heard.

Regina Spektor - Man Of A Thousand Faces

Brilliant, Just Brilliant...what did you feel?

Both Lovely Leading Ladies Triumph

The Emmy Nods are in and to no surprise Grey Gardens has been nominated for several awards including Best Make-up, Costume Design, Directing, and MOST importantly Best actress...for both Drew Barrymoore and Jessica Lange

Drew Barrymore's portrayal as Little Edie reminds us of the astounding and electrifying ability Drew has to captivate an audience whether it be on the big or small screen. Stellar work!

::Keeping fingers crossed::

Vivienne Westwood on Jonathon Ross

The genius that is Vivienne Westwood speaks,
and when she speaks, we should all listen.
Fashionistas and stylists take note.

She is caught saying, in a real quiet tone, that "the real problem is everyone looking alike in todays fashion world."

I AGREE 100% !!!

New Moby !

A drastic Difference from last year's "Last Night," that led with thee impressive Dance hit "New York New York" with lead vocals provided from one thee original icon's of rock music known as Deborah Harry (lead singer of Blondie) Moby's new single is easy and unwilling beautiful, "Wait for Me," is a burst of melancholy goodness. It shows how unexpected Moby is and has been throughout his entire career in the music industry.

Now relax and enjoy this stellar sweet tune

True Glamour Never Fades

Grey Gardens DVD Out Now!
"Based on the life stories of the eccentric aunt and first cousin of Jackie Kennedy, starring Drew Barrymore and Jessica Lange, GREY GARDENS tells the tender, intimate story of an eccentric mother and daughter."

Drew Barrymore deserves an award for her performance!

I smell Emmy and Golden Globe win for sure.
My bet has been placed.

Queen of Hip-Hop Soul

Mary J. Blige's new single "The One," working with the much-talked about Canadian rapper Drake for the first single off her upcoming album. I always love me some Mary but it seems like she has lost the ability to connect with the lyrics and melody with her new single. The queen of hiphop soul sings a sleek, almost unrecognizable and way over produced vocal. Drake, who has his own smash with "Best I Ever Had," provides a much needed assitance to the track . Producer Rodney Jerkins, who's been making hits since the early days of Destiny's Child and much of the late '90s Top 40 hits...may have created pounding beats but it falls short of true Mary excellence. But one has to remember, when Mary sings live, she always delivers a demanding and explosive performace.

Check it out for yourself

Yes! Yes! Si!

A brilliant lyricists telling it like it is for both young men and women in todays society. Famously proclaimed by Emile Hirsch's character protrayal of Christopher McCandless in Sean Penn's 2007 film Into the Wild -

"Society! You know, society! Cause, you know what I don't understand? I don't understand why people, why half of the human race is so bad to each other so often. It doesn't make sense to me. Judgment. Control. All that, the whole spectrum."

Here it is, Lily Allen's newest single of her latest album

Established Names Beware !

Well it seems like the girl from Mtv's the hills, Lauren what's her name(i really cant remember her last name at the moment) is officially a New York Times Best-Selling author.

She told People Magazine, "If someone said to me five years ago when this all started that I would one day make the New York Times Best Seller list I wouldn't have believed it. I am so honored that it is now a reality."

This hillbilly, i mean, hills girl also proclaimed, "It was such a compliment to be included in something with such established names."

Maya Angelou watch yo back

Thee end of an era ?

Christian Lacriox's final couture show took place in Paris during fashion week. Lose of true craftsmanship and a soft sophistication that represents French Fashion. In my opinion some investors should get on this wagon and make a rebirth happen. Or better yet, phone-in SJP !

Mr. Lacriox's wedding dress in the
Sex and the City film was one of the best!

La da da da...Only rapper to rewrite history without a pen

Hollah, The HOV is back!

"But the music yall makin gonna make it the great depression,PULL YOUR SKIRT BACK DOWN, GROW A SET MEN"
